2005 - My Review

Manze, this year has been full of surprises, personal achivements and a few disappointments. Some things I have said and done, that I haven't been proud of, lakini as always life continues. I have made new friends and alot of enemies, but do I look bovvered!

Anywhoo, am looking forward to 2006 and I can feel good tings in the pipeline for moi!

I started my blog in
Feb. and am really enjoying the experience. Sharing my personal experiences with the world is a 'good' way of not bottling up. The comments help too! Thanks for y'all who have passed through. Keep doing so! As a KBW member, I have read some really cool blogs. I hope I get to see more of those next year.

I also managed to get in touch with peeps I haven't seen for more than 7years. Sites like
Hi5 and Graduates.com are a blessing and a curse too. This mami I juad in High School decided to locate me using the graduates.com one to vent out the fact I aint buddies with her no more (long story involving a jamaa - upuzi tupu tuu!). Some people never seem to grow-up! Shhhheeeiiiissshhhh!

Disappointed though that I missed
Sevens - London Circute. I was really looking forward to it. Anywhoo, I saw most of the team before the game and that kinda compensated. So, will I go in 2006? I will just have to wait and see, since it is in June.

Made a whole new set of friends and I hope the friendships continues......MK peeps and in other areas (locally, internationally and virtually), akina K-Dip na pia
nannoma camp. New year, new projects! Keep it locked!

In a nutshell as you have read in my blog, 2005 has been an eventful year for me. I just thank God for everything.

For all the haters out there, you are being watched. Closely!

Well, I guess this is my last entry for 2005. Y'all have a lovely Christmas and a very Blessed New Year.

Your one and only delicious blogger,

Mochalicious!

'Jamhurigate' on TV

Peeps in the UK will nyita what am on about.

I watched the Jamhuri celebrations on telly last night - OBE TV. I have to say, nice attempt by the person who did the program, lakini missed out alot of stuff. Peeps looked like they had fun (boozy eyes), but like any nollywood film, the sound was crap and the editing was.....eeiiish, i think i can do better with my mobile phone, if not a camcorder.

The highlight for me was when Kimmy Gal and Zippy bigged up MK peeps and the jamaa who spoke Kyuk....LOL. That was a funny one!

The jamaa who was jumping all over the stage with Redsan and Nameless.........crazed fan ama just wanted to be noticed? And whats the deal with mamis going on stage to dance with the artist, only to look like lost sheep and doing jack?! Aki I felt embrassed for them.

Then the credits started to roll............*speechless* yaani 10 days of editing and that is what they came up with for a thirty minute slot. *TSK* *TSK* *TSK*

Inventions - Reloaded!

Do they have something in the market to 'grease' your mgongo (back)?

The winter cold and a severly dry skin don't go together.....and when you start itching?!!! ARRGGHH, am not a happy bunny right now.

Bloggers....ebu saidia!

p.s. don't weka comments like having a shuma to do it for you.

Another 'Jamhurigate'

....with 'kidogo improvements'. Spare some time for this one. Click here, here, here and here for details.

Solo hit the nail on the head and did a brave thing and brought it up...........Kimmy Gal confirmed what Solo and some of us already knew. I am sure most peeps had a good time at the event (Jamhuri Day Celebrations), mostly catching up with peeps they haven't seen for a long time.

The million dollar question is, why was this
ngomongo
on my case?

In case y'all wondering what I did, stayed home with a lovely cooked dinner and
watched Miss Iceland take the crown for Miss World and a very hot Miss Tanzania take the crown for Miss Africa.

Ati Am A Miserable Sod!

Someone claims to have read the whole of my blog and concluded that am a "miserable and angry individual"!

Well, they actually did me a favour coz I never go back and read what I wrote when I started the blog. So, I found several that contradicted with this individual's claim of having read "all the stuff on my blog". Liar Liar, pants on fire!

So, here is a perfect example and this one. This one too. How about this one.

At the end of the day, who are you to judge me? I would leave that to God if I were you.

Otherwise, to the rest of my fellow happy bloggers,

Have a TROLL FREE DAY!

Do I Look like a Skater?

Isn't enough that we have frosty platforms in the morning? These peeps who clear their throats and spit anywhere should be shot on site with a stun-gun and made to slurp it back up......yes from the floor.

Leo morning - ok it wasnt frosty - I was skidding on the platform whilst I ran to catch my train. Wacha I look at the floor to pata some slimey stuff shining back at me.....I was disgusted.

Did I miss my train? No! But I almost lost half of my nice winter coat, if it got caught by the shutting doors.

Hindiots!

Are you an Inventor?

I was walking to the train station this morning and a random thought ('twas cold....thinking of stuff to get my mind off the fact that am freezing) about inventions came to mind.

I remembered how I read about this guy who invented coloured bubbles - it took him 11 years to perfect his invention. Then it got me thinking, if I was to invent something, what would it be? Here are some suggestions (dunno if they have been invented yet)......so here goes:

  • How about non-toxic paint that is graffiti proof?
  • Etch proof glass for buses that is reasonably priced - if you are in London mainly (dunno about other cities), look at the windows on top of the double decker, esp. at the back.

What would you invent if given the chance?

Gallivanting around East London - What a Weekend! ....cont.

'Laters' later...........gosh, now I know the importance of writing about something when it has just happened, before the weeks activities become to much. I hope, my continuation of last weekend's shenanigangs make good reading.

Now, where was I......

Yes.....while we warmed up in fast food joint, two of our clique of around fifteen peeps decided to buy a bit to eat. It was at this time Shasha walks in after a long fone conversation out in the cold and shouts in funniest sheng ever of how the place smells of cockroaches. "Hii place inanuka mende, jo! Na mnanunua food hapa? Aki mtahara!"Ending his comment with a wicked laugh and adding how he will repeat it in the Queen's finest english so that the peeps in the fast food joint will understand way all of us were in fits of laughter. Never dare a drunk man on his B-Day, but luckily for us his fone rang. "Sasa ni nani huyu ananipigia simu in the middle of the night? Na ni private number! Wacha ni rudi kwa baridi!" Leaving us again laughing, coz we all knew who was on the other side of that fone call.

Anyway, it wasn't long before the place was closed for the night, so since I was being frozen from entering Afrique with a Du-Rag on, we decided to look for somewhere else to go for the night. I mean we had options like we had earlier in the night, Desire, Twilight and even Ministry of Sound. Anyway, some smart 'aleck' (won't mention who coz I jua they is reading this) suggested 19. A club that was once a 'hotspot', lakini after driving out there and seeing the entrance full of blokes and a mama in site was pure bliss (ok, so could be see, lakini they just looked as rough), we kinda thought once....not twice, about going in. So, those of us who didn't eat at the 'mende' joint bought food at a joint that was open close to 19 and drove back to Afrique.

By now it was like 3ish and when we fikad Afrique, we found a different bouncer at the door from the one who had froze me earlier. Just when I thought we will get in bila beef......who comes out red-eyed semaing am still not going in.......the shyte faced bouncer from before. Manzee....I was kinda vexxed that he still had it in for me. Anyway, after a few quick words by other peeps to the bouncer and I think the manager for the night, I ingiad the joint.

Yaani, up until this point, the whole night was full of bila mpango situations and drama at the door when we pata mpango. Anyway......we ended up having a good time. Until some other 'random' person decides to call me aside and ask me about stuff I wrote in a forum. Manzee, am out to have fun of what is left of the night.....not to be asked about some stuff I wrote about in some freeking forum.....eeeiiissshhh! Anyway, after a few monotone answers later, I return back to my friends and continued partying. Shasha got wet with booze after his message from the Dj was announced over the music...........next time, remember to beba a change of clothes, even a jumper. At the end of the night, a member of the nannoma family and K-Dip were battling it out with a wanna be 'fiddy'! You can all guess who go the most cheers.........and its not because we were the only peeps there (yah, we practically, kinda closed Afrique) LOL!

Just when you think the night is over, peeps still don't wanna go home. 6 in the kirokoz.....we head back to the first joint - Simpsons. We stay there till we had a bit to eat (why lie, that place makes some serious karanga nyake, even at 6 in the morning) and at around 8ish we decided to head back home. In winter, we actually broke the unwritten rule of, you leave home in the dark, you return in the dark.......tihihihihihi!

Pit stops later for ngata (petrol) and toilet breaks on the motorway, I was dropped diggz at 9ish in the morning and I was still buzzing from the evening's events. Anyway, made breakfast and had it with my housemates.......had a shower and that did it. I blacked out til late Sunday afternoon, when I had to wake up and go see Mr Mocha. Now, that it is a story for some other day....or maybe never!

Finally..........!
