As much as I appreciate the cause, as a black person, should I be offended by this?

What they have done is put african artists in a different location and called the event Africa Calling. Do you think that the African artists should be in the main event as other artists?

I was watching MTV...surely Live8 is about Africa...not about a Rock Concert with people going for the fun of it just because Franz Ferdinand will be on stage. I'm not hating on rock but at least artistes of African origin like Femi Kuti, Youssou Ndour, Salif Keita, Papa Wemba, Lucky Dube among others should have been on the list. Maybe then even Africans in the diaspora like us would have thought of attending the concert. Live8 will help Africa but there should have been an African prescence in the concert.
